Port Moody满地宝市，City of the Arts
满地宝是个依山傍水的小城市，人口3万4千，驾车去温哥华市中心40分钟车程，上班可乘坐West Coast Express（西岸快车），只需20分钟就可抵达温哥华市中心的WaterFront站。2004年被评选为世界最适合居住的小城市。Port Moody市政府附近的New Port Village和Suter Brook区集中了以白人为代表的年轻小家庭。山上Heritage Woods/Heritage Mountain一代目前吸引了不少华人和韩国人新移民。海边的Ambleside一带的独立屋不少有自己的游艇码头，受到各族裔富商的青睐，通常称为他们的度假屋。
满地宝高中Port Moody Secondary的IB班为43教育局唯一拥有IB课程的学校，每年输送不少优秀学生去加美各大名校。山上新建的Heritage Woods Secondary在全省公校排名前列，还经常成为电影的场景。
并不隶属于Port Moody的Anmore镇和Belcarra区，是白人喜欢的幽静区域。夏天，我们经常驱车去那里的Sasamat Beach，Buntzen Lake（实际是省电力局的储水湖）和Belcarra。夏天的周末一定要早些去，否则没有车位，恐怕要步行半个小时才能到达公园呢。
